Content-Aware Image Sizing

The narrator’s voice may put you to sleep, but hang in there for a minute. They’ve opened up a whole new level of photo editing capabilities.

So many times I’ve wished I had more image to work with, or a better crop.

A Photoshop plug-in should be coming soon from onOne Software.

Loud guys talking smart

September 17, 2007

Finally, A Talk show for me…

There’s something strange about hearing these guys speak so intelligently and quietly. I know they’re all incredibly smart guys, but what a contrast to their stage presence. It’d be like my grandpa jumping out of his recliner and belting out some Pantera. Only in reverse, I guess.

For example:

Crazy Henry, Low Self-opinion

And some old Black Flag

SOAD, Sugar

RATM, Killing in the Name

Unloading the coffin.

Figuring out how to embed youtube video with wordpress.

Hopefully above you’re seeing a video of us at work unloading yet another dead body for storage. And Matt Slack giving us the finger.

I think Aaron shot this with his phone. Beautiful piece of cinematography.

I just unloaded my old 4G iPod on ebay today, and was planning on using the money toward a new video iPod until I saw this.

The iPod AV?

There's been a lot of speculation about what the new video iPod will look like, MacShrine has posted a few pictures that look pretty believable. According to their information it sounds like it could happen as soon as April 1.

Google video: Unstoppable Toyota

February 8, 2006

I mostly wanted to try posting some google video to see how it worked out, but this video of the Toyota pickup getting trashed and still running gives me hope for my ’94 Toyota pickup. If a truck a few years older can withstand flooding, fire, wrecking balls & being dropped from the top of an imploding building then I should have no problems driving back and forth to work for quite a while. Video’s about 17 minutes long, so if you’ve got nothing to do, check it out.
